The Great Art Fair
UK 's Largest Art Fair Launches November 2006 Who will you discover? The Great Art Fair, the UK 's largest art fair, launches this November at London 's Alexandra Palace . The Great Art Fair in London, from 30 November – 3 December, is the first in a series of new international art fairs which will tour major capital cities around the world, allowing visitors to discover brand new and established artists. The Great Art Fair in London has established itself as the UK 's largest art fair, with over 350 exhibitors, and is now a sell out show. A wide range of art will be available to buy from national and international artists. Paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, etchings, ceramics and textiles will be on sale. From established names such as Royal Academician, Philip Sutton, whose works hang in Tate Britain, to emerging graduate talents and other exciting new artists, the fair is offering an inviting alternative from the often inclusive, elite art events and boasts an experience that will be truly rewarding to the general public. The Great Art Fair presents a wide range of artists, ranging in price from £200 to over £30,000, who will be at the fair to answer questions and introduce their work to first time buyers and seasoned collectors alike. The first truly international travelling art fair, The Great Art Fair has also started selling exhibition space for a series of further shows in 2007 in New York , San Francisco and Denver , as well as further shows planned for Alexandra Palace , due to an overwhelming demand from artists and galleries. There are additional plans for expansion into other worldwide markets. “We wanted to offer a day out that appeals to the widest possible section of people, including families. The response to the launch of the online gallery has far exceeded our expectations and will provide a valuable resource to exhibitors at the events and to artists, gallery owners and the visiting public. Over the next few months, we will be developing the site and by the time we open the show, ACCESS2ART will feature a comprehensive range of services to artists and collectors. The Great Art Fair – the international art showcase Following the phenomenal success of The Great Art Fair, Christmas 2006 in London, we now have a comprehensive international portfolio of events that have now been officially launched. Shows are now planned for San Francisco, New York and Denver as well as London. Each show will contain its own unique exhibitor base and listing on Access2Art. Indeed, due to unprecedented demand, we have even officially launched The Great Art Fair, Christmas 2007 seven months ahead of schedule as we have a waiting list of 130 exhibitors who want to book their stand at the event.
