Visitor Profile

Visitors will be those who appreciate and collect contemporary art. Some may go only to view. Many will be looking for inspiration in a purchase decision as they will be able to make immediate contact with the artists or galleries at the event. Yet others will be determined to make a purchase at the fair to experience the thrill of buying an original piece of art, be they seasoned collectors or new art owners.

The event is therefore predominantly a consumer event and the majority of visitors will be art lovers and private art collectors. We will also be specifically targeting buyers of contemporary art. These will include high net worth individuals and corporate and institutional investors who have a particular interest in building private collections. By definition, the visitor demographic profile will consist of ABC1 individuals and the visitor target is for between 20,000 and 25,000 over the four day open period.
